Jan
Welcome to Jan’s Journal at iNutrition.com. From a fitness perspective, I’m probably a lot like you. I’m not an athlete. Not a figure competitor like Natalie Waples (I wish!). Not even particularly active…yet. But in my mind, I have an image of the “ideal Jan” I’d like to become. I want to lose some weight, tone my muscles, improve my nutrition and boost my energy. In other words, I want to be the healthiest person I can be, at this stage of my life.
You probably have a similar, idealized image of yourself in mind. Fit, active, healthy, and energetic. But something’s been blocking us from achieving our goals. Maybe it’s not enough self-discipline, or a lack of motivation. Maybe we’re intimidated by going to the gym (I certainly am!). Maybe we need to learn more about how to eat right, find the right nutritional supplements, and set up an exercise plan we’ll actually make time for in our busy lives.
Let’s go on this fitness journey together here at iNutrition.com. If there’s one thing I’ve learned in 25 years as a TV news reporter and anchor, it’s how to ask questions, get information and communicate in an easy to understand way. In my blog, I’ll be charting my own progress, and sharing tips and information from our experts here at iNutrition.com. They have a wealth of knowledge and experience to share, and you and I can learn together.
Achieving goals is easier with the support of teammates, so invite your family and friends to join the iNutrition community. Let us know what works for you and how you feel about your progress. Just email me here at jan@inutrition.com, and keep checking this space.
